NDO - Trade union organisations at all levels across the country have spent nearly VND4.4 trillion (US$193.4 million) on taking care of trade union members, workers, and frontline forces.
The figure was announced at an online conference held by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour on September 14 with a focus on COVID-19 prevention and control and support for trade union members and workers amidst the pandemic.
He asked for further efforts to improve care for workers and share in their difficulties, particularly pregnant labourers and those with school-age children, while fostering coordination with functional agencies in deploying policies on supporting labourers.
