Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison on June 10 agreed to work towards a travel bubble, aiming to resume safe travel between the countries in the coming time.
The pledge was made during an in-person meeting between the leaders, which was held in Singapore under the comprehensive strategic partnership reached in 2015.
Under the Singapore-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the prime ministers of both countries meet annually, but their last meeting was held virtually in March last year due to the pandemic./.
